Every person feels valued, respected, listened to and is an active member of Team Aveley. All here are encouraged, and feel safe, to take risks which impact positively on their learning and sense of self.  Each member of the school community is responsible for upholding consistently high expectations, ensuring the very best opportunities, outcomes, knowledge and skills for a successful future. 

We believe the fostering of positive relationships between all involved (pupils, parents, staff and governors) is essential to enable each child to achieve the above, irrespective of race, culture, gender or individual needs. 

Our school has a happy, purposeful working atmosphere. The staff work together as a team and we do our best to make each child’s educational experience both challenging and enjoyable. We aim for children to look back on their school days at Aveley Primary with affection and a sense of pride, both in their own achievements and those of the school. 

Our values of Respect, Positivity and Responsibility are promoted and recognised as an important part of who we are.
