SEND
Special Educational Needs and Disabilities
At Aveley Primary School we are proud of our inclusive learning environment. We work in collaboration with parents and professionals to ensure that teaching and learning meets each child’s needs; allowing them to reach their full potential and have a successful and fulfilling journey through school.
Children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) are supported through quality first teaching, targeted interventions, support and individualised learning as set out in their EHCP or SEN support plan. As part of the children’s learning we aim to help the development of the whole child, including their social development, self-esteem and emotional well-being. Staff and parents receive regular support from the Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo).
If you have any queries or concerns, please speak to your child's teacher in the first instance.
